Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

AgentTune (“AgentTune”, “we”, “us”) operates the website at agent-tune.com and the related open-source tuning library. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What we collect

Instruction, memory, and comparison tools. The eight tools at Free tools process text and imported files in your browser tab. Their contents are not sent to AgentTune or a model, and are not automatically saved. Downloads include the output you choose to export. Clear the tool or close the tab when finished.

Working-preference share links. If you choose to create a card link, its reviewed text is encoded in the URL fragment. Anyone with that link can read the card. It is not stored in an AgentTune account and cannot be centrally revoked. The card page removes the fragment from its address before analytics load. Do not put secrets or sensitive facts in a shared card.

Browsing & the free tools. You can use AgentTune with no account and no sign-up. The five personality tests are scored entirely in your browser — the individual answers you select are never transmitted to us. We collect standard analytics about page visits (see “Analytics & cookies” below).

3. How we use it

• to respond to support requests;
• to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.

4. Who processes your data

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it to train our own models. We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run the service:

• Cloudflare — website hosting (Cloudflare Pages).
• Google — Google Analytics (usage measurement).

Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms.

5. Analytics & cookies

We use Google Analytics to measure traffic (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser). It only loads if you allow it: the first time you visit, a small banner asks; until you choose “Allow analytics,” no Google Analytics script runs and no Google Analytics cookies are set. Declining is remembered and Google Analytics is not loaded. Withdrawing consent disables further Google Analytics events in the current tab and clears its first-party analytics cookies. Cloudflare also provides aggregate traffic and performance measurements through its cookieless Web Analytics beacon. That is separate from the consent-gated Google Analytics tag. We do not run advertising or cross-site ad-tracking.

You can change your choice any time: Analytics preferences (re-opens the consent banner). Google also offers an opt-out browser add-on.

6. How long we keep it

We don’t store your test answers or results at all — they never leave your browser. Analytics data follows Google Analytics’ standard retention settings. If you’ve emailed us, we keep that correspondence only as long as needed to help you.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete any personal data we hold about you (in practice, just email correspondence). Email [email protected] and we’ll action it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honor those requests regardless of location.

8. Security

All traffic is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we minimize what we collect so there’s little to expose.

9. Children

AgentTune isn’t directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

10. International users

AgentTune is operated from the United States and uses globally-distributed infrastructure. By using the site you understand your information may be processed in the US and other countries.

We’ll update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date above.
