The short version. AgentTune is built to need as little of your data as possible. The five personality tests run entirely in your browser — your answers never reach our servers. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic. If you buy Premium ($9), we process your email, your scored results (not your individual answers), and your payment through Stripe, and we use Google's Gemini API to generate your tuning file. We never sell your data or use it to train our own models.
1. Who we are
AgentTune (“AgentTune”, “we”, “us”) operates the website at agent-tune.com and the related open-source tuning library. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. What we collect
Browsing & the free tools. You can use AgentTune with no account and no sign-up. The five personality tests are scored entirely in your browser — the individual answers you select are never transmitted to us. We collect standard analytics about page visits (see “Analytics & cookies” below).
The Premium assessment. If you choose to generate a Premium master file, we collect:
- your email address — to deliver the file and give you access to your private permalink;
- your scored personality summaries and your short “AgentFit” AI-preference answers. We do not store your raw, item-by-item test answers — only the scored summaries needed to generate your file;
- payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
3. How we use it
- to generate and deliver your Premium tuning file and host it at your private permalink;
- to process your payment and handle refunds;
- to respond to support requests;
- to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
4. Who processes your data
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it to train our own models. We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run the service:
- Cloudflare — website hosting and encrypted storage of Premium assessment data (Cloudflare Pages + KV).
- Stripe — payment processing for the one-time Premium purchase.
- Resend — sending your Premium file and related transactional email.
- Google — Google Analytics (usage measurement) and, for Premium, the Gemini API, which generates your master tuning file from your scored results. Your assessment summaries are sent to Google’s Gemini API for this generation step.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms.
5. Analytics & cookies
We use Google Analytics to measure traffic (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser). This sets cookies and collects your IP address. We do not run advertising or cross-site ad-tracking. You can opt out with your browser’s cookie controls or Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
6. How long we keep it
- Unpurchased Premium drafts are automatically deleted about 14 days after creation.
- Checkout records are retained about 30 days.
- Your generated master file (and the email tied to it) is kept so you can re-access your private link and re-tune later — you can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Analytics data follows Google Analytics’ standard retention settings.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you (your email and your generated file). Email [email protected] and we’ll action it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honor those requests regardless of location.
8. Security
All traffic is served over HTTPS, and Premium data is stored on Cloudflare’s infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we minimize what we collect so there’s little to expose.
9. Children
AgentTune isn’t directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
10. International users
AgentTune is operated from the United States and uses globally-distributed infrastructure. By using the site you understand your information may be processed in the US and other countries.
11. Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date above. Material changes affecting Premium customers will be emailed where feasible.
